Netflix, one of the online streaming giant companies, announced on Friday that it will be launching its platform for its customers in India on the weekend of December 5-6.
From 12 midnight on December 5, anyone in India can watch blockbuster movies, biggest web series, award-winning documentaries and reality shows with no subscription.
Last month, OTT streaming company announced plans to give free streaming access to its users over the weekend.

To use this service, visit netflix.com/StreamFest and you must sign up with your name, email or phone number and password. Streaming will start after that. No credit or debit card payment required.
"Anyone who signs in during Streamfest gets a stream on the standard definition, so no one else can stream on the same login," said Monica Shergill, Content Vice President of Netflix India.
